To figure out if you have a recalled bag of food, check the 12 digit code on the back of the package. Affected bags have a "2" or "3" in the 9th digit place and an "X" in the 10th or 11th digit place according to Diamond. Also check the "Best before" date which would be between December 9, 2012 and April 7, 2013 on affected bags.
